Myanmar

Myanmar faces ongoing political and social challenges, and is frequently hit by natural disasters. The 2025 earthquake significantly exacerbated the country's already dire humanitarian situation, leaving many people without livelihoods and in urgent need of support.

Since the 2025 earthquake, AWO International has provided emergency aid in Myanmar, supporting reconstruction and rehabilitation projects, and promoting food security. We collaborate closely with local partner organisations to enhance the long-term living conditions of affected communities.
