Based on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 4 and 13 as well as the educational concepts of global education and education for sustainable development (ESD), global challenges are to be brought into society in order to promote structural changes.

The project activities are aimed in particular at full-time and voluntary workers in youth and adult education in the welfare organisations. This includes social workers, educators, employees in voluntary services, employees who want to implement sustainable projects in their institutions as well as volunteers. Through educational offers, multipliers are qualified in terms of content and methodology on the topic of socio-ecological transformation. At the same time they are enabled to recognise and shape possibilities for action for a (climate) just future.

The following activities will be implemented as part of the project:

  • Online seminar series on social-ecological transformation with the following topics: climate justice, mobility transition, climate & gender, sustainable development
  • Symposium on social work as human rights work
  • Methods training for pedagogical staff in the volunteer services
  • Methodological workshop
  • Workshop for the future
  • Development policy workshops as part of our study visit with professionals from the Philippines
  • E-learning course creation
  • Updating our development education materials

We work with partners inside and outside our association.
