Emergency fund

In the event of disasters, those affected need rapid support. This is why we pre-finance emergency aid projects, so that money is already flowing before the first donations reach us.

Hurricanes, earthquakes, floods or heat waves:  The frequency and intensity of extreme weather events has increased in recent decades. The consequences for the population are often devastating. Crises and disasters often occur unexpectedly, which is why we as an aid organisation must be prepared.

This is the idea behind the Emergency Fund: we collect the funds before an emergency occurs. In the event of a disaster, we can access these funds and react quickly to a crisis situation. The first emergency measures include, for example, the distribution of food, blankets and tents, the supply of drinking water or the improvement of the hygiene situation. In addition, with the Emergency Relief Fund we can also carry out projects in crisis regions that hardly appear in the news.

With your donation to the Emergency Relief Fund you support us in helping people in crisis situations quickly and unbureaucratically. We can use your donation specifically where the need is greatest.

How your donation can help

  • Fast and unbureaucratic help in crisis situations
  • Distribution of e.g. food, blankets and tents
  • Supply of drinking water
  • Improvement of the hygiene situation
